Based on the historic timber-framed signal box that is found adjacent to Hoveton and Wroxham Station in Norfolk, this Scenecraft model depicts a much-loved structure that has recently been restored to its former glory by the Wroxham Signalbox Trust. The real box dates back to 1900 and was originally built to control the junction of the branch to Aylsham with line from Norwich to Cromer line which was originally operated by the Great Eastern Railway.

Our model captures all the charm of the original box, with its Swiss chalet style wooden slatted structure, grey tiled roof, upper floor veranda complete with intricate handrails and glazed windows. Fully finished and decorated with a white and green colour scheme, this model is ready to be placed onto your layout right out of the box and will make a great addition to your layout no matter what the era!
