Our period water bowser was an essential carrier during the age of steam, where it could be used to top up vehicles in areas where there was little or no other water supply. For its second 1:76 scale release, here at Oxford we've decorated the bowser in a dark green sitting on a dark brown chassis. The water pipe and tap are both black and are poised ready for water to be siphoned off as needed from the tank which held approximately 8 gallons of water. The large wheels are dark green and red with black wheel centres.

This simple little model would add an authentic touch to your Showman collection, stationed next to a steam engine or two.
