R1288M Hornby LNER Azuma High Speed Train Set - 800201

The LNER Azuma train set is the perfect modern day passenger train set, the train itself is a replica of the Class 800 train that were introduced to the East Coast Main Line in 2019. These trains were designed and built using Japanese bullet train technology that offers a faster, smoother and quieter journey. The Class 800’s are bi-mode powered which means they run on electricity where the line is electrified or powered by a diesel engines for areas that aren’t electrified, making them versatile on the modern day rail network.
This train set consists of a train made up of two drive units at each end, one is the power car is motorised to power the train and both have directional lighting that illuminate, white at the forward end and red at the rear, and a passenger coach in the middle. It also comes with an oval of track with a siding, buffer stop and a controller with mains power supply. This train set offers all in one box to create a train set that
offers hours of fun and excitement. There is also the option to build on this, extra coaches are available and can be added to make a longer train, there are various track additions and buildings that can be added to make it larger and to create a realistic world in miniature.
