Wooden platforms were often used at stations where the terrain could not support heavier infrastructure or where passenger traffic was simply expected to be too light to justify the expense of building the platform from more durable materials. These Wooden Platform Ramps from Scenecraft are designed to work alongside the Wooden Platforms (42-0010).
