The 1:76 scale of the 2-door Ford Escort Mk 2 in a sand yellow colour scheme with black trim including satin black bumpers. The interior is moulded in a cream alabaster tone. Oxford’s fifth release on the Mk 2 is registered RCH 247R from 1976 and represents the second generation of the marque. Apart from the external differences over the Mk I, it used the same mechanical components with revisions to the underbody and interior. The Mk 2 comprised a front engned, rear wheel vehicle with a standard UK and European engine size ranging from 1.1L upwards. From 1977 Ford introduced further developments on the Escort which ensured it remaining in the top flight of UK favourites right through to the 1980s.
