Ark Royal Class Fleet Aircraft Carrier of World War II, built by Cammell Laird at Birkenhead, completed in late 1938. Battle honours included Norway 1940, Mediterranean 1940/41, Bismarck 1941, Malta convoys 1941. Struck by torpedo on 13/11/41, Ark Royal sank the next day despite efforts to keep her afloat.                                
Length 696.4mm, beam 82.4mm, total parts 550+ • Hull split in two parts • One piece deck • Flight includes Swordfish x 5, Fulmar Mk 1 x 4, Blackburn Skua x 4.
