With calls for an all-new ‘Swindon Warship’ growing in recent years, Heljan have responded with an outstanding new model that will set new standards for detail and high-end features. Developed from their highly regarded O Scale Class 42, this new model will feature a similar specification to other recent models in the Heljan range, with class-leading detail and lighting and sound features. Just some of the features include:

• Six separately switchable lighting functions in DCC mode
• Illuminated headcode blinds
• Cab interior and engine room lights
• Interior engine room detail
• Factory-fitted twin speakers on all models
• Powerful 5-pole motor driving all axles
• Also fitted are fine separately fitted lamp brackets, wire handrails, sandpipes, roof hatches and much more!

All models will be offered DCC Ready with an easy-to-access 21-pin decoder interface or with factory-fitted DCC and sound. Heljan also announced via Facebook "They didn't, did they? They couldn't, surely? Well, just like the Diesel Traction Group all those years ago, we have. That's right, we've dressed up a BR 'Warship' in full Deutsche Bundesbahn V200 livery and it's available to pre-order now as a very special limited edition. Just 150pcs will be made, split across DCC Ready and DCC Sound versions.
