One of the many benefits of DCC operation is that wiring becomes simpler and easier. Reverse loops are one of those things that can be easily hidden in a layout but are very handy to literally reverse your trains. Think one point branching out and connecting back onto itself.

Although handy for operations, it can be traditionally tricky to wire. For digital modellers this unit simply connects between two isolated breaks in your reverse loop and then to your controller via track, bus, or directly to the unit, whichever you find easiest. Oh, and did we mention it has screw terminals, so no soldering is required?
