A versatile workshop / machine shop building suitable for industrial, mining, farm or railway use. The design is typical of many buildings of this type that can still be seen all over the British Isles, with stone walls, slate roof & brick chimney.

The walls are finished in our popular old stone texture, enabling it to fit in with any location or railway region but the kit also comes complete with a set of weathered red brick wraps should you prefer a brick finish.

The kit is supplied with laser-cut parts for ease of assembly and comes with fully weathered paper wraps and roof slates, with no additional painting or weathering required for a "Realistically Better" finish straight from the pack.The windows & doors are supplied laser-cut from our eco-friendly laserboard and are packed with detail.

Doors & window frames require painting before the kit is assembled which can be done with solvent or acrylic based paints. We used a Plastikote Stone colour for our test build which we then dry-brushed with burnt umber, white & slate grey artists acrylics to create a weathered wood look.

There's also plenty of scope for customisation too... with the slates being applied in individual strips it's easy to build it in either pristine or derelict condition (or anywhere in between) .

There's lots of detail on both door types including engraved planks, hinges and locks. The traditional casement style windows can be glazed with the kit packaging if desired. There's also the opportunity to build the kit without the chimney and with a choice of arched or square doors so you can easily customise it to suit your needs.
