Nearly all towns and cities have at some point played host to a Department Store, where local shoppers can buy clothes, furniture, toys, and sometimes even scale models! This Scenecraft model depicts a brick-built department store called ‘Needham’s Homestore’, which has the front wall painted in white and a protruding shop front which has been decorated with yellow window frames and green signage. The model is low relief, allowing it to be used along with other low relief buildings on OO and OO9 scale layouts or 1:76 road dioramas without taking up too much space.
