The LMS ‘Black 5’ is arguably the most famous of the 4-6-0 mixed traffic types built by the LMS, or any of the ‘Big 4’ railway companies, and this iconic design is brought to life in miniature thanks to this N scale model. With a powerful tender drive mechanism supported by two axles that are fitted with traction tyres, the tender also houses the DCC decoder socket making it easy to fit a decoder ready for DCC operation.
