Sir Handel is a narrow gauge saddle tank engine who originally worked on the Mid Sodor Railway. He now works on the Skarloey Railway and became its third engine.

Bachmann carefully reproduces your favorite Thomas & Friends™ characters in miniature, and these narrow gauge products are made to the same scale as British OO9 models, meaning they can run on both OO9 and N gauge track. All Thomas & Friends™ Narrow Gauge locomotives feature electric drive mechanisms, highly detailed diecast construction, all-metal wheels, and narrow gauge hook and loop couplers.
