This is the latest addition to the "Shows You How" series of booklets, a useful 16-page guide to the world of locomotive detailing. With a number of well-illustrated step-by-step articles, backed up with helpful text, the booklet explains how to upgrade a modeller's favourite engine. Subjects covered include renaming & renumbering, upgrading moulded details, adding crew figures, and detail painting and weathering.

There is no doubt that where possible modellers like to add individual improvements to their cherished models, but are maybe hesitant to make a start. This booklet will hopefully give the confidence to tackle each task, resulting in a unique model to showcase on their layouts
