DCC71 Gaugemaster Prodigy DC Adaptor Plate or decoder tester.

This comprises a DCC60 plug (to fit into the Base Unit socket) connected to a PCB fitted with an 8 pin decoder socket and a Programming / Main changeover switch. The PCB also carries a socket enabling the user to connect the device to his Programming track / Main track plug. New locos can then be run-in, decoders programmed and the results checked before fitting the decoder to the loco. This set up also allows a user to run and DC loco around their DCC layout provided ALL other DCC locos are in an isolated area.
