SS23 Wills Bicycle Shed with Bicycles. This universal design is as common a sight as ever, although the bicycle designs may have changed! The angled racks allowed the maximum number of bikes into the space. Up to the 1960's, when most cycling was done by adults unable to afford cars, large cycle racks would be found outside factories and works buildings. Now that cycling is having a renaissance as a leisure activity, it as far more common to find cycle racks like this outside public buildings and even on the platforms of railway stations.
