KMRC announce Exclusive Revolution Trains 00 gauge Class 175 in unbranded TfW livery as running on GWR

We announce an Exclusive Revolution Trains 00 Gauge Class 175 in an unbranded TfW livery as running on Great Western Railway.

Great Western Railway are introducing 26 Class 175 trains that are members of the Alstom Coradia family of units, to its fleet to help improve punctuality and reliability for customers. The 10 two-car trains and 16 three-car trains are starting to enter service in Devon and Cornwall with the entire fleet expected to be operational from the end of this year. Able to be connected in four, five and six-car formations, the trains will operate predominantly on the line between Exeter St Davids and Penzance, as well as to Barnstaple and Okehampton.
The units previously operated by Transport for Wales are being introduced wearing an unbranded version of the TfW red and grey livery.

The Kernow Model Rail Centre Exclusive highly detailed model in 00 Gauge in GWR unbranded ex-TfW livery is being produced for KMRC by Revolution Trains and the highly detailed 2-car diesel multiple unit models feature: working, directional lights, user switchable lighting functions, low profile drive unit, kinematic close coupling with electrical connections between cars, detailed interior, DCC decoder socket (21 pin MTC) - one decoder needed per unit, fine wheelsets to NMRA RP25 standards and Designed for Peco radius 2 curves.

The KMRC Exclusive class are available as DCC Ready £279.95 with a 21-Pin DCC decoder socket and SOUND FITTED models, £374.96, are pre-fitted with an ESU Loksound Decoder.

The two versions available, to pre- order, due Q4 2026, are as below:
• RT-OO-175-TWU-004A 175009 GWR unbranded ex-TfW 2 car.
• RT-OO-175-TWU-504A 175009 GWR unbranded ex-TfW 2 car DCC sound
