Hornby have today announced the first part of their forthcoming 00 gauge range for 2026. Hornby have moved away from the single annual January announcement and are generally only announcing items that they are confident will be available within 12 months.
Further announcements will be made during the year in April, June and October.
As with previous years this announcement is 00 gauge only and does not include TT-120.

It includes a brand new tooled locomotives, rolling stock and a number of new liveries for existing models.

The highlights of the new tooled items in the 2025 Hornby range are summarised below.

BR(s) Bulleid Rebuilt Merchant Navy Pacific
Back in the year 2000 Hornby announced the first of its all new super details and Chinese made models representing the Bulleid Rebuilt Merchant Navy pacific and this was a step change for not only Hornby but the hobby as a whole.  A new tooled version to modern standards, die cast parts including boiler and high level of detail with many separately fitted parts and including lighting is now announced. A steam generator fitted option will also be available (although please note that this model will be available Q1/2 2027 so slightly out of the 12 month window.

LNER A4 Pacific
The LNER A4 pacific locomotives have been re-tooled to include a die cast body enabling Steam generation options to be offered.

Class 60 - Railroad range
New tooling for the Railroad range sees the introduction of an all new Class 60 including sound fitted options.

Existing tooling new liveries
In total 129 new livery items across Railroad range, train sets and packs, steam and diesel locomotives, carriages and wagons have been announced for 2026.
