Every good yard needed the means to load and off-load freight and the Yard Crane provides just the solution, this fine model of a hand-operated crane can be mounted on the ground or on a platform or staging. The Loading Gauge was equally important, ensuring that vehicles were safe and within gauge before their onwards travels and this Scenecraft model depicts a wooded structure with metal gauge incorporating some lovely detail. Goods were once handled at most stations as well as dedicated yards and depots so it will be easy to find a home for this double act on most layouts and dioramas.
