KMRC Skrifa - Getting out into the garden for summer

When the summer comes, we hope with summer weather, traditionally this is the time when modellers start thinking about taking their hobby into the great outdoors. This generally, but not exclusively, means large scale and you should be aware already that Kerbnow Model Rail Centre have the accessories and track ranges for such a situation. The most popular scales for outdoors tend to be G-45 ("G Scale") and SM-32, although O gauge and Gauge 1 are also used outside. 

For both G-45 and SM-32 we offer a range of Peco Setrack and Streamline track components, including track sections (Setrack), flexible track in 3 foot/914mm lengths, and a number of different turnouts, all that is needed to set up a railway in the garden. The plastics used in the PECO sleeper/tie bases are durable and capable of withstanding all weathers, including the affects of the sun's rays. Nickel silver rail, whilst tarnishing, will retain its electrical conductivity without issue. We also stock Bachmann G-45 track too.
