Rapido Trains launches UK business with six new models

Canadian based Rapido Trains Inc. have this week launched its new UK Business Rapido Trains UK and announced the launch of 6 new British outline model trains and road vehicles.

Rapido Trains, founded in Canada in 2003, has a proven track record of manufacturing museum-quality models for the British market but working in partnership with other organisations. This new range of British outline models will be produced under the Rapido Trains UK brand.
The first six models are:
Western Region Hawksworth ‘15XX’ 0-6-0PT, ‘OO’ gauge

That will be available as
904001: No. 1506, BR unlined black, no emblem
904002: No. 1500, BR unlined black, early emblem
904003: No. 1505, BR lined black, early emblem
904004: No. 1504, BR unlined black, late emblem
904005: No. 1501, BR lined black early emblem (as preserved)
904006: No. 1509, NCB maroon

Hunslet 16in 0-6-0ST, ‘OO’ gauge

That will be available as:
903001: No. 3716/1952, Alex, Oxfordshire Ironstone lined red.
903002: No. 3782/1953, Arthur, Markham Main Colliery lined green
903003: No. 2705/1945, Beatrice, NCB lined red
903004: No. 3783/1953, Holly Bank No. 3, NCB lined blue
903005: No. 1953/1939, Jacks Green, Naylor Benzon & Co lined green
903006: No. 3715/1952, Primrose No. 2, NCB lined black
903007: No. 3714/1951 Thorne No. 1, plain green
