377-080K Graham Farish Triple Pack SE&CR Plank Wagons.

The pack contains:

  • 7 Plank end door wagon number 15090
  • 7 Plank fixed end wagon number 14517
  • 5 Plank fixed end wagon number 9816

Wagon Nos. 14517 and 15090 were built to the design of SE&CR Chief Mechanical Engineer Harry Wainwright - with No. 14517 being built by Hurst Nelson in 1913, whilst No. 15090 was the last of a batch built by R.Y Pickering in 1914. No. 9816 was built to SR diagram 1348 which was designed under Richard Maunsell who became CME of the SE&CR following the retirement of Harry Wainwright in 1913. These wagons were rebuilt from earlier Hurst Nelson built wagons and were seen as a stop gap following WW1 before the production of new steel under-framed wagons began from 1918.

These models utilise the latest Graham Farish tooling which includes fine moulding and separately fitted detail parts, metal wheels and high quality printing. These wagons are sure to find a home on many layouts and will make the ideal train for the recent Graham Farish N Class 2-6-0 in SE&CR grey (item No. 372-933) to haul.
