There were two types of Diagram AA20 'Toad' brakevan. One had the footboards halfway up the axleboxes and others, including Titfield-star No. W68740, were built with the footboards below the axleboxes.

Why this is important is that a second 'Toad', No. W114804, was also used in filming. Disguised as No. W68740, No. W114804 appeared in several sequences. And No. W114804 had the footboards in the higher position.

To enable modellers to fully re-create The Titfield Thunderbolt, low-footboard No. W68740 will be offered in this pack.
