Rapido Trains UK is going narrow gauge with the launch of the ‘Narrow Lines’ range with 00-9 Kerr Stuart 0-4-0 and 'All Purpose' wagon range.

Rapido Trains UK has announced it is going narrow gauge with the launch of the ‘Narrow Lines’ range with 00-9 Kerr Stuart 0-4-0 and 'All Purpose' wagon range.

The Kerr, Stuart and Co. Sirdar Class 0-4-0 (Long Tank) locos will be available with a number of options inclduing different chimneys, plain or with doors backsheet, bin and steps. Each will also include a detail bag of optional parts for customisation. Models will be either DCC Ready (6 pin socket) or sound fitted.

To accompany the locomotives an ‘All-Purpose’ Wagon Range featuring tooling for nine new wagon types featuring dropside open, cylindrical tanks, gunpowder van, covered van, manrider, livestock, peaked roof van, stake wagon and single-veranda brake van body styles.
