D6xx North British Warship OO Gauge
We announced this model back in 2010 but after virtually no progress was made with the previous supplier we awarded the contract to DJModels in August 2014. The project effectively started from scratch from this date, albeit with research already well-advanced. Further problems resulted in us working directly with the factory from April 2018, since when progress has been swift and the models are now on the way from China. The first models arrived on 11th March 2019.
The models will be produced using tools owned by Kernow Model Rail Centre. Each model will be a certified limited edition of 750 and will feature etched nameplates, working directional and cab lighting, coreless motor with flywheels and be DCC Ready.
The first CADs were received in November 2014 and were checked and feedback to correct some minor issues given to the factory, with updated CADs received on 14th August 2015. Various iterations of CADs were then worked on with the issues being very minor but we feel it is important to get the minor details correct.
In November 2016 approval was given for tooling to commence. The final CADs are shown below.

Prices have risen since the announcement and we are unable to honour the pre-order prices. We contacted each customer that had an existing pre-order placed prior to 14th December 2016 giving details of how we intend to mitigate this rise. The offer for these customers has now expired.
