R60332 Hornby ZCV TOPE Hoper Wagon number DB970569 - Civil Engineers Dutch Grey and Yellow

Also classified ‘ZCV’ or ‘ZDV’ under the TOPS scheme were ‘Tope’ wagons. Introduced in 1988, they were rebuilt from MGR hopper wagon, but had cut-down and welded hopper wagon bodies with a simplified side-bracing. Mainly used for carrying ballast and for spoil disposal in departmental trains, 856 conversions had been completed by the time the last was turned out in 1991.
