2026 marks 80 years of PECO Model Railways, and to celebrate this milestone, PECO has created a special collection of rolling stock packs in OO-9, TT:120 and N Gauge.
Founded in 1946 by Sydney and Claudine Pritchard, PECO has grown from its beginnings into a name recognised by railway modellers around the world.
Each anniversary pack contains five models and a commemorative certificate, presented in a box featuring specially designed anniversary artwork. Alongside the unique '80 Years' Van, each pack brings together a selection of classic liveries and designs inspired by PECO history, including tributes to former models that have been out of production for some years.
The N Gauge Anniversary Wagon Pack combines the anniversary van with a selection of classic liveries and designs from PECO history.
Across the three gauges, the anniversary packs bring together some of the names, liveries and designs that form part of the wider PECO story.
From the S.C. Pritchard wagon, recalling PECO founder Sydney Pritchard, to designs inspired by the Wonderful Wagon and Quality Line ranges, each pack offers a different selection of models with links to PECO history and contains:
- PECO 80th Van - An exclusive livery commemorating the PECO 80th anniversary.
- S.C. Pritchard 7 Plank Open Wagon - Based on a real 7 plank coal wagon coincidentally bearing the name of PECO founder Sydney Pritchard.
- Mendip Mountain Quarries 5 Plank Open Wagon - Based on a member of the PECO 'Wonderful Wagon' range, first produced in the 1960s.
- BP Tanker - A reproduction of one of the first examples of PECO ready-to-run N Gauge wagons.
- IZAL Pallet Van - A reproduction of a long-discontinued classic from the N Gauge 'Quality Line' wagon range.
