We announce an Exclusive Bachmann weathered BR Blue livery Class 08 No. 08625 in OO Gauge.
BR Class 08 350hp shunter number 08625 was built at the BR Derby works and introduced as number D3792 in October 1959 and renumbered under TOPS in February 1974.
In the 1980s, a weatherbeaten 08625 was prominently known for working as the Derby station pilot, moving coaching stock and rolling stock around the busy station and local depot. It could also be seen working in and around Bletchley and Euston. 08625 was withdrawn in March 1997.

Our Exclusive highly detailed Class 08 number 08625 in heavily weathered BR Blue livery, based on prototype photographs, in OO Gauge is being produced for KMRC by Bachmann Europe. It is based on their very latest tooling. The models mechanically feature: five pole motor with flywheel providing drive to the rear axle, sprung centre axle, electrical pickup from all wheels, separate metal bearings fitted to each axle, diecast metal chassis block incorporating the gearbox, with gearing arranged for prototypical running speeds and haulage capabilities, detachable coupling pockets to NEM362 standards fitted at both ends. Auto-Release Couplings fitted are at both ends DCC operated, hands-free uncoupling with the press of a function button (SOUND FITTED DELUXE models only).
Electrically the models feature: fully operational front and rear marker lights, eight microswitches (easily accessed via the removable, clip-on roof panel) allowing user-configuration of the front and rear lights when operated on DCC or Analogue control, shunting lights (one red and one white light at each end) operated via a dedicated function on DCC, or using an easy access microswitch on Analogue control, cab light operated via a dedicated function on DCC, or using an easy access microswitch on Analogue control, front and rear lights can be turned on/off independently via two dedicated functions on DCC, or using two easy access microswitches on Analogue control.

The build version for the KMRC exclusive model to accurately represent 08625 includes: angle section main frames, concealed bodyside door hinges, radiator ladders removed, wooden cab door, LMS pattern buffers, dual brakes, 2 front marker lights (oval light housings), 2 front lamp irons, 2 rear marker lights (oval light housings), 2 rear lamp irons, cab panel stiffening ribs, whistle, cab roof vent and equipment boxes (RHS) with raised doors and recessed latches.

The Exclusive Bachmann Class 08 No. 08625 is available in three formats, with standard DCC Ready versions, £199.99 with a Plux22 DCC decoder (The recommended decoder is Bachmann item No. 36-570). SOUND FITTED models, £299.99, are pre-fitted with a Zimo MS450P22 Decoder, whilst the SOUND FITTED DELUXE format, £324.99 also includes the auto release coupling.
