COVID-19 SAFE WORKING

We continue to closely follow the latest updates on the COVID-19 situation and the following outlines how we comply, especially with respect to the requesting visitors to continue to wear a face covering in store, see below for details.

Our stores at Camborne and Guildford will continue to serve customers in accordance with the latest Covid-19 guidelines, with appropriate social distancing measures in place as above.

The team are looking forward to meeting your needs from both our branches. Opening hours for both shops will be Monday to Saturday 0930 - 1700 and Sundays 1000 – 1600. See below for more detailed information.

Both our Guildford & Camborne shops are OPEN for browsing.

SOCIAL DISTANCING STILL APPLIES!

In accordance with the latest government advice and for all our safety we respectfully ask all our visitors to wear a face covering, which should cover the nose and mouth and be self-supporting. Certain medical conditions are exempt.

Please follow the 2 metre social distancing guidelines inside, and outside if waiting to enter, the shop.

At busy times we may need to limit the amount visitors in the shops and or limit the of time for browsing.

Click and collect / phone and collect from both stores and Mail order, of course, also continues as normal. Please remember to bring the payment card used to place your order with you when making a collection. You can also make a phone and collect order by calling us on 01209 714099.

The arrangements will be kept under constant review and may be amended if circumstances change or in the light of experience gained.

Mail Order

During 2020 we opened our new warehouse located close to our Camborne store. This new warehouse, that has been seamlessly in operation since the end of December 2020, will be solely for the mail order operation and increased stock holding and will not be open to the public. The warehouse is also operating in accordance with social distancing guidelines for the continued protection of our team.

Customers are still able to purchase from us via our website and through phone orders. We are still getting regular deliveries of stock and will continue to despatch orders as quickly as possible.

Please note that Bachmann, Dapol, Gaugemaster, Heljan, Hornby and Metcalfe are continuing to operate as normal, albeit with delays. PECO resumed deliveries in early May but, as expected, have a huge backlog. PECO are working very hard to return to normality.

At present, as with all post/deliveries, it is unfortunately very normal for orders to take longer in the post. We cannot do anything about this. Please be patient with us and the postal system. If your order is urgent then please use the Next Working Day option!
