The editorial team of the new magazine Modern Locomotives Illustated has launched the second Modern Locomotives Illustrated Annual, with in-depth features on a diverse selection of UK and worldwide rail topics. Illustrated with high quality pictures, it will inspire rail enthusiasts to enjoy and further their railway interest. The Annual will include around 14 chapters each dedicated to a separate modern railway topic.

Illustrations throughout will be mostly in colour with a handful of monochrome images of older subjects. The MLI Annual will include numerous "fact files" in each section containing facts, figures and extra enthusiast information. Drawings and maps will also be included.
