Beattie Well Tank OO Gauge

We have commissioned Dapol to produce on our behalf the LSWR (SR) Beattie Well Tank 2-4-0WT in OO gauge. Associated for many years with the Wenfordbridge branch while based at Wadebridge these models are sure to prove popular if the number of requests we have received over the years are any indication.
This model will be made using the very accurate ‘Laser’ scanning technology and will feature all that’s best in current thinking regarding electronics, gearing etc.
The specification is as follows;

5pole motor with flywheel

- Cab interior modelled accurately

Darkened RP25.110 see through wheel sets with 14.4mm back to back measurements.

Accessory pack for you to ‘individualise’ the look of your own model.

Phosphor Bronze self lubricating axle bushes.
Pre-production models of this locomotive should be available at our special event on 4th / 5th September 2010 with the finished model due shortly afterwards.
At present three models are proposed: -
K2051 number 30587 in BR Black with early emblem
K2052 number 30586 in BR Black with early emblem
K2053 number 30585 in BR Black with late crest
The price will be £89.99 and these are available to order now (Two-thirds of these models have been pre-sold). Each model will be unique with all three having the differences of the prototype.
The laser scanning has been completed and the latest CAD-CAMS of this model have been received (03/06/2010):-

Each of these models faithfully reproduces the individual details of all three prototypes.
Class 205 2H Hampshire Unit OO Gauge
We have commissioned Bachmann to produce as an exclusive to Kernow Model Rail Centre a 2-H Thumper unit for OO gauge.
  
Known as either Class 205, 2-H, Hampshires, Berkshires or Thumpers this model has been laser scanned from a real 2-H currently in preservation to allow for a very accurate depiction of detail, shapes and angles. All tooling will allow for backdating this model to as built condition, and a centre coach will be added during later production runs.
We are now taking advance orders. No cards will be charged until we are ready to send the models which is our standard policy on all advance orders. Over half of these models have now been pre-sold.
This model was to have been produced by Dapol but we have recently switched production to Bachmann which will allow a lower retail price and also models with digital sound to be produced.
If you have already pre-ordered one of these models you need take no action as we will automatically amend your order to reflect the new price and manufacturer. We have only reduced the price of the first batch of releases as these are the only models we have a confirmed price for. The second batch will probably be cheaper as well but we cannot confirm that at this stage.

PBA and JIA China Clay Wagons OO Gauge
We have commissioned Dapol to produce two China Clay wagons with the tooling entirely owned by Kernow Model Rail Centre.
The PBA TIGER wagon will initially be available in English China Clay International white livery with eight running numbers. Four will be in pristine finish and four will have a weathered finish. Prices will be £27.99 pristine and £28.99 weathered. Delivery is expected in May 2011.

Class 37 "Slug" Twin Pack OO Gauge
We have commissioned Bachmann to produce as an exclusive to Kernow Model Rail Centre a pack of two Class 37/9 Diesel Locomotives for OO gauge.
Contains: -
- Diesel Locomotive number 37 905 in Trainload Metals livery.
- Diesel Locomotive number 37 906 in Railfreight livery.
Limited edition of 512 pieces exclusive to Kernow Model Rail Centre, includes numbered certificate of authenticity. Both models are motorised and DCC ready.
The tooling will be amended for these models to include the correct exhaust and amended body side.

Limited edition of 512 pieces exclusive to Kernow Model Rail Centre, includes numbered certificate of authenticity and etched nameplates. DCC ready with 21-pin Decoder socket.

Silver Bullet China Clay Slurry Wagons OO Gauge
We have commissioned a further production run of the OO Gauge Dapol Silver Bullets. These models have all made our top ten selling list and over one third of the planned production has been pre-sold already. Firstly, we have two pristine versions in a slightly different livery than the standard Dapol batch. These will be identical apart from the ECC International logo which will be omitted.
